The Moot Court Society of Xavier Law School is thrilled to present
Sculpture’25, an exhilarating legal drafting competition designed to
challenge and refine the research, analytical, and drafting skills of aspiring
legal minds. This competition provides students with the perfect
opportunity to strengthen their legal writing, develop structured
arguments, and gain hands-on experience in crafting well-researched
memorials.

In Sculpture’25, teams will consist of two members, acting as the
Researchers who will be assigned either the Petitioner or Respondent’s
side. Each team will draft a memorial exclusively for the side allocated
to them, allowing them to focus deeply on building strong, persuasive
legal arguments. The competition will be conducted online, making it
accessible to all participants. The final date for soft copy submissions is
22nd April 2025, and all teams must ensure timely submission through
the designated online platform. Submissions must strictly adhere to the
rules and regulations laid down for the competition, ensuring uniformity
and fairness in evaluation.

However, the learning doesn’t stop at submission! On 26th April 2025,
participants will have the incredible opportunity to attend a workshop
conducted by eminent figures/judges, who will share valuable insights on
legal drafting, advocacy, and courtroom strategies. This interactive
session will be a golden opportunity for students to refine their legal skills
and gain knowledge from experts in the field.
Following the workshop, the winners will be officially announced, and the
best-performing teams will be recognized for their exceptional work.
Exciting rewards await! The winning teams will be awarded medals and
certificates, honoring their dedication, research, and drafting expertise.
